William Dixon born Cartmel ,Lancashire 1822

Can anybody help with any information about William Dixon who was christened at Cartmel Lancashire 22nd sept 1822. In 1841 he was at Canny Hill, Cartmel. He was in the LEEDS area in 1861 at 30 Brewery Street , Leeds married to a Bridget with a family he is a Hawker.In 1871 he is at 7 Greaves Yard ,North Ward .Leeds with further family and he's a water cress hawker. any information before or after this in the Leeds or Yorkshire area would be appreiciated

The 1881 record is quite interesting because i'd found a William Dixon in 1881 at 58 Myrtle Street a pensioner of 11th Hussars but his birthplace is down as Leeds but it says hes married. It may be the right man.
KGarrad i dont think thats him their birthplaces are Bacup i believe

Yes I'd seen that one and wondered if it was the William you are researching, my only concern was his occupation  Needs more investigating.
