Researching tip
« on: Wednesday 21 June 17 11:05 BST (UK) »
Having almost totally abandoned my search for "lost" relatives I remembered that the family once had a business which operated through a limited company. To my great surprise the company was still registered with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) and despite surname changes(on marriage) I was eventually able to make contact with cousins after more than fifty years!

A warm welcome to Rootschat.

Sometimes when you are researching and have given up as you have come up against a "brick wall" something triggers a memory and if you pursue this you get a result similar to yours.

Well done and I hope you enjoy sharing information with your new found cousins.

Good luck with your future research and remember there are some very experienced people on this site so please ask for help.
