Sworn to secrecy but I'm quite looking forward to seeing one of the new episodes. Research has been going on for months but some of the filming only done about 10 days ago.

Yes I think they did. We had a long gap and then the final 2 were shown a couple of weeks apart.
No doubt due to sport of some sort. Wasn't one of them Dr Zoe from Casualty?

Sunetra Sarker (Dr Zoe in Casualty) was programme number 9 and she found she was related to Gandhi.

The final episode was Sophie Raworth,newsreader a couple of weeks later.

Wonder what Adil Ray will be like - perhaps we will find out that he is actually related to a Mr Khan

Apparently the series is to air in two five-episode blocks, rather than continuously.

If the last series is anything to go by, that means the final programme of the series will be shown sometime in 2018, having been delayed by a football match between two non-UK countries, a snooker tournament, a specially extended edition of EastEnders to mark their 10,000th on-screen disaster, and urgent re-runs of some celebrity chef's Christmas Cooking series.
