I am now pretty sure Joseph and Benjamin were brothers originally from Cognoe, Northants. There are some entries in Ancestry Ill need to verify. All I can see without subscription is there is a Benjamin and  Joseph with parents being John and Mary around the 1790's.

Fingers crossed someone might fill in the blanks for me .... anyone?

James Jackson 1784 - 1838. Married Isabella Parke Lived at Glasson Dock/ Thurnham.
Mariner sons : Robert, James, Michael & William.
Other sons: Thomas, John & Joseph.
Daughters: Grace, Elizabeth & Mary.
