From NSW BDM online indexes only,  the couple (Mary and John) at Kogarah in the NSW electoral roll entries of the 1930s (OP's Aunt)  were likely the couple who were married back in 1897 at Lismore, and still together until John's 1945 death, and so are not the couple marrying in 1918 and divorcing in 1924 that have been mentioned in posts on this thread. 

 # 414/1897 STOKER John E and WILLIAMS Mary G   ;D

http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/17949423 SMH 10 Aug 1945.  Details there of John and Mary's adult children.

No, their daughter.
The news items are quite clear and the place of residence of the lost cousin in the 1930'sEDIT 1941  is also clear from other records.
But, the good news it that John, our OP is happy to finish things off now and has found all he needs for the present time.
