Many thanks for that .i have assumed they married in Randlestown.

I have found quite a few siblings of  her  father James . It appears from Groni that  he was born 8/2/1897 . His father Robert Nimmons married a Margaret elizabeth moore 18 Aug 1882 at Antrim ist Presb church.
Have not been able to find who James married or his death  despite putting in a range of dates into Groni. Begining to wonder if the sisters had other siblings i dont know about  .
Without your help would not have got this far.
Very Many Thanks

Have you tried using GRONI database to search for marriage of James Nimmons?

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kao/   gets you all Civil Reg stuff for Surname all over Ireland, you can then select whatever Reg District you want from list on left... etc

Since Marjorie was born 1926 and her father 1897 then it's quite possible Marjorie's parents married in the 1920s and Irish Genealogy only covers N.I. records up to 1921.

GRONI index has an out of district marriage, in Belfast area January 1925, of a James Nimmons to a Victoria Brown. It might be worth checking, even if only to rule it out.

Some Nimmons from Randalstown did, it seems, have links to Belfast. A James Nimmons of Cliftonville Avenue, Belfast, who died in 1956, aged 84 years, was apparently for many years a well known member of the Salvation Army in Belfast and a native of Randalstown. He seems to have had a painting and decorating business at Cliftonville.
