Burngreave Cemetery
« on: Sunday 25 June 17 10:54 BST (UK) »
I am researching three people who all died at different times but appear to have been buried in the same 'grave'. I would not have thought them affluent enough to have been able to afford their own plot but hope that someone here will understand how these things are organised better than I do. Do you think that they might actually have a gravestone?

It does say on the info from Sheffield Indexers that they were "removed from Sheffield Parish". What does this mean?

Hi, have you tried the 'friends of burngreave' website ? You can email them and they may be able to tell you if there is a headstone or not.
From the 'Indexers' site, I take 'removed from parish' to mean that the person did not die in the parish which they are buried, be it a parish in Sheffield or elsewhere. You can search the term on that site too.
I hope this helps a little. I will send you pm too🙂
