Samuel Latham married Elizabeth Smith 1754 Wybunbury
« on: Sunday 25 June 17 11:49 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a possible baptism for Samuel Latham. His wife Elizabeth smith was born 1727 and at the moment the only possible baptism I can find is in 1702 at gonsley near Betley.
I also know that samuel had a brother John and I can find several possible baptism entries for him but need to try and work out the correct parental line!

I also know that both brothers- samuel and John- were still alive and tenanting property in 1779-1782.

There is a family of children with predominantly biblical christian names (Esther, Nathaniel, Hannah, John) - with a father John - in the Blakenhall area in the 1730s and 1740s- amongst which there is a son john born Oct 1735- but I wish i could find an older brother Samuel for him!

Any help very welcome

He was the son  i think of Thomas Latham b 22/11/1729 and Ellen Hulse of  Wybunbury . Family consisted of Mary Latham b 3/31719, Robert b 10/12/1720, John b 30/12/1722, Sarah b 26/2/1723, Samuel b 16/3/1725, William b 20/6/1727 /Thomas b 22/11/17 and Ralph b 22 /11/1729.

I am interested in Thomas. Information came to me some years ago from a Latham in Gloucestershire .

Good Luck .
