hanes teulu, thank you  :) That Thomas is certainly explaining things  ;)
I don't think the 1758 Robert died, I have him down as marrying Jane Davies in 1786, 28 years old. But then, that could have been the Robert from 1760 I guess. It does get confusing when we see several entries with the same name. As there is the same parentage, I guess it will be difficult to know for certain.

No age given.
Burials of children are often recognised by the format " xxxxxx (given name), son or daughter of xxxxx xxxxxx (usually father)". These parish entries reflect that approach. There are examples either side of the 1761 entry.
Hence the 1761 burial is almost certainly an adult.

An Anne Hanmer, of the Parish of Mold married a Robert Lloyd, of the Parish of Llanynus, on 2 Feb 1868. Both signed their names - witnesses Griff Willams and Richard Lloyd.

I have the Hanmers in Luton.....Father, Massie Walley Hanmer, who I suspect was born about 1796/1800.

I suspect his parents are Thomas Hanmer & Margaret Walley who married in Manchester 1796. He being 'a gentleman of Bristol'.

I also suspect there is a connection to the Nantwich area. The one in Overton sort of fits the bill, especially with his parents being Thomas & Ann.

I am pretty sure that Massey can't be my relative.

I have children after Robert Hanmer (1758 -1839?)) and Jane Davies:
Samuel 1787
Robert 1790
Benjamin 1793

Children after Robert Hanmer (1720 - 1761?) and Anne Eash:
Thomas 1755
Robert 1758
Robert 1760

Can you see if there were any more children from those parrents ?

As for getting parents for Robert b 1720,  I guess there is no online information available atm. So I would have to go see the actual church registers ? Would that be Guilsfield in this case ?
