Turner family of Norton St Andrew in 1700s
« on: Friday 30 June 17 13:35 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am looking for any information (Births, Marriages or Deaths) about any of the Turner Family who lived in Norton in the 1700s and a little before and after. (Including names of spouses)
I am fairly sure that Charles Turner born abt 1715, married an Elizabeth but I can't find a surname for her on my subscription site. I think they had at least one child as I have found an Elizabeth Turner 1749 - 1808 who married a John Grimwade.
I also suspect that a Davy Turner may have been a relative with a marriage in 1747 and also an Elizabeth Turner with a marriage in 1742.
If anyone has access to Boyds Index there may be some clues but I haven't got a sub with those records.
Burt, Cockrill, Craske, Debenham, Double, Grimwade, Grimwood, Hilder, Mayhew, Ray. All from  West Suffolk around the Bury St. Edmunds area.
Simpson, Pittendreigh, Arthur.   Aberdeenshire
