I received the birth certificate that I ordered of Elizabeth Jane Sinclair and there was an interesting twist.  It says she was born in Aintree (Litherland, Lancaster, West Derby).  This confused me when I looked at the map because all (3) of the census info I have says she was born in Sefton, which I assumed was near Aigburth where they lived in 1871.  However, after looking at a map more closely, I found there was ANOTHER Sefton, only 2 miles from Aintree.  So now I have another area (suburb?) of Liverpool to visit when I'm there in the fall.

Aintree was in the parish of Sefton and at that time if the family was Cof E the parish church of Sefton often spelt Sephton was where she would probably have been baptised.

I do have her birth certificate record but no baptism.

Unfortunately, I've searched all the baptismal records online and haven't been able to find her.

Here http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html

Is there any other place worth searching?

I have an ancestry account and I've tried Findmypast and family search as well.

Do you actually need the baptism if you've got the right birth certificate?

There is only one Sefton near Liverpool. The name name Sefton you spotted on a map near Aigbuth, probably refers to Sefton Park, which is a public park within Liverpool city boundaries, but nowhere near Sefton the place.
If it was me, I would be looking for the baptism as well. It's always possible you'll find something else that way. There are churches in the area which are not on the Lancashire On-line Parish Clerks site.
Liverpool - Ireland
Skerries, County Dublin - Thorn(ton),  Wicklow -  Traynor
Baltray, Co. Louth, McGuirk and  Co. Mayo -  Phillips
Isle of Man - Harrison -  Andreas and Morrison - Maughold,
Durham, Hetton and East Rainton area  - Brown and Kennedy
Northumberland - Clough, Longbenton

Thanks!  And yes, I've now realized that Sefton Park isn't Sefton. I was confused because of its location to Aigburth where she lived when she moved to Canada.

I will continue to look for baptismal records.  I found some more on Ancestry.
