As a matter of interest where do I find the list of non conformist Christian Denominations Stan? I have been searching for this for years but no matter what I put into the search engine nothing comprehensive comes up.

The Places of Worship Registration Act 1855 provided for places of religious worship, except those of the Established Church, to be certified to the Registrar General on payment of a fee, to the superintendent registrar of the district.

William Bradshaw from Lilly Hill was shot in the Peterloo Massacre, I believe it is his family on the NJ church record.

Researching the Bradshaws (particularly the branch that moved to Chester - i.e. Thomas Kirkman Bradshaw) and reached the marriage of Thomas's fathers (Joseph Bradshaw of Pilkington, Whitefield) to Alice Kirkman. Ancestry notes the birth of Alice Kirkman as being registered 'Piece 3955: Pilkington, Stand Lane Chapel (NEW JERUSALEMITE)'.
A quick Google search on 'New Jerusalemite' lead me directly to this thread.

The Religion was ,as has been indicated ,Swedenborgian.A spiritualist sect.
The founder of the religion was Emanuel Swedenborg .
There was such a church in Ramsbottom named “ New Jerusalem” .
Sadly now demolished .
