Hi

Has anyone got the names and dates of those buried in the very old Castle Ellis Graveyard?

I'm curious to know details from a headstone for a Denis Phelan.

The graves there are transcribed in Cantwells Memorials of the dead. I look at it when I need in the Public library, however I believe they are also on Find My Past.

Edward Phelan is the only Phelan mentioned in Cantwell.

It is important to note that Cantwell only recorded pre-1880 burial, and of course only those he saw and could read on his visit. His transcriptions can be only a fraction of the burials in many cemeteries.

Apologies for above wrong post. Denis Phelan January 27th 1788 aged 56 years is the only Phelan mentioned.
