*COMPLETED* Help needed for Retrieving Messages on a 'GiffGaff' Sim?

Hi Folks,

This may sound as though I'm dippit but I got a GiffGaff Sim in an emergency as I lost my phone.

However, on my old phone & sim (o2) I had the voicemail disabled (many years ago) but I didn't think to do that when I joined GiffGaff.

I have had 2 texts in the last 2 days to say I have voicemail messages & I can't work out how to retrieve them 

I had not topped this sim up since January as I don't actually need a mobile (unless in an emergency) but I have topped up incase the messages are an emergency so as to retrieve them with no success.......NOT GOT A CLUE!!!! 

Grateful of any reply?

O2 in now 3, so do they not go to the 3 message centre number?   

I think that is 0830000800

Just a suggestion, I do not know!

When you join giffgaff, your voicemail is automatically switched on. You can access it by dialling 443. You can switch it off by dialling 1626 and reactivate it by dialling 1616. To reset your voicemail PIN text RESET to 802443.

Thanks for reply but I am now with GiffGaff, different sim & different number i.e. no connection with o2 in any way.

Rosinish if you are now with Giffgaff you should have been assigned with a buddy , has that happened yet ?
There are also the chat rooms for any future queries too, your buddy is the first port of call as they are very knowledgeable

I don't know to be honest as I've only used the phone a few times but I have now got another o2 sim i.e. will be changing to that soon as GiffGaff is too expensive!

Ok Rosinish. I'm surprised that you find it expensive but maybe you don't use your phone much. I left O2 for Giffgaff it was a far better deal for me.

I topped up £5 (Goodie Bag) on 3rd Jan to call a taxi when I dropped my car off at garage, never used it since but it doesn't save your unused credit like o2 does i.e. cost me £5 for 1 call!
