I think that Arthur f is correct , I have been looking at elcterol registers for him and it seems that the family lived around Harrogate, rippon for some years and then harry disappears in 1946 before he marries Emily in 1947, ,arthur and elsie live together till I  think 1956 when Arthur appears to live with Brenda, I wondered  perhaps elsie has died around this time in this area but haven't found her death,Mags
