looking for the baptism and marriage of THOMAS MOLD born c1786 Claydon
his parents are George and Elizabeth.
Thomas married someone called Elizabeth and they lived in Priors Hardwick, Southam, Warwickshire, she also came from Claydon.

Claydon was a chapelry in the parish of Cropredy.

So, maybe search there as well?

OFHS have parish records for Claydon on their CD BAN03 and Cropredy is on CD BAN02.  Unfortunately I don't have these CDs in my collection so can't look up for you.

Possible marriage for your Thomas Mold 22/9/1806 in Claydon, Oxfordshire to Elizabeth Ellman

There are quite a lot of Baptisms in Claydon with parents George & Elizabeth Mold but none for Thomas. The nearest in years to Thomas is Rachel Mold baptised 7/9/1788 Claydon, parents George & Elizabeth, perhaps a sibling to Thomas and another is Sarah Mold baptised 10/10/1790 Claydon same parents.

If the 1788 bap is the first to Geo & Eliz then perhaps Thomas was born/bap elsewhere.  Have you found parents' marriage?  I believe that often a woman would give birth to her first child at her mother's home.

The original parish records for Claydon, Oxfordshire are on Ancestry - have just looked and there is a daughter Ann bp.11/7/1784 but nothing else between then and Rachel's baptism in 1788.

thank you all for your help, maybe its just the parish record for Thomas baptism is missing as I have all his siblings.
