A Date for William and Hannah

William was my great Uncle, and here he is with his wife Hannah.

William was born in 1898, and died around 1949 (I believe).

I was wondering how old he was in this photo. Any ideas?

I would say post-war/early 50s, so if he died 1949, not far from that. I think he looks about that age, too.

He looks like he is in his fifties to me.

Sorry for the delay in replying!  Thank you for the comments, I also thought he looked like he was in his 50s.  The thing is, I have not found a death record for him, but he seemed to disappear at about the age of 49.
