Hi,
   I am stuck on a part of the family tree, the most concrete part of the tree is Robert Fisher Alexander and his wife Jessie Glassford Duff. They had a son David Duff Alexander, and his wife was Mary Smith Morrison Faulds. But to go back from Robert and Jessie, is where I am having the most of my problems. Would any one have an idea for me to continue the tree back, I have tried everything that I can do or afford.

Hi there you never mentioned any dates so I am assuming this is the marriage

Probate record for Robert Fisher Alexander died 22 November 1915 address 11.Belmont Crescent Glasgow

You will be able to get his death on Scotlands People and that will give you his parents name to take you further back

Jessie died 29th july 1931, of 3 Greenbank Crescent, Edinburgh, confirmation of David Duff Alexander, Robert Glassford Alexander (writer) and Campbell Kerr Duff

    I did forget the dates, but yes what you have is what I have. It's his parents (of Robert) I'm after now, is there a way I can get the names without having to join up to yet another site???
