Here’s the marriage from St. Robert’s Morpeth – date as given

Charles Docherty, residence Morpeth.  Parents Irish, residence (left blank)
Susanna Morton, residence Morpeth.  Parents Irish, residence Morpeth

Witnesses:  Revd. Jas. Burchall, residence Cowpen and M W Blake, residence Morpeth

Minister:  G A Lowe

Disappointing that there are no more parent details

Christine

Thank you ever so much for doing this for me. It's so disappointing that the parents names aren't given but at least it confirms my supposition that they were Irish.

If there's anything you need looked up in Edinburgh or Berwick where I occasionally go, do let me know.

Thanks again,

Kind regards

Andrew
