Nanny career
« on: Saturday 08 July 17 19:26 BST (UK) »
My great aunt Violet Emmeline Gladys Dennis, born 1 April 1908, Greater London.  She died 1988, Peterborough.  She never married and I believe travelled all over as a nanny.  I would like to fill in some gaps but have nothing else.  Perhaps a register for nannies ?

Regards

Julie

Hi,

Have you looked at the 1939 register?

If not then by doing a free search this could be Violet in the Rowe Household living in Cookham, Berkshire -

Violet E Dennis born 1908, living with Frances M Rowe and 6 more people.
4 more people who are officially closed

JJ
