The entry in 1911 shows Joseph Burrows - nephew. This ties in as a sister of Joseph Barrow's (Elizabeth Ann) married Joseph Burrows snr.

There is a marriage between Mary Pearson and WILLIAM Barrow in 1878....in Leyland.

Also census shows 4 child deaths of which there are 4 on LancBMD in Leyland....

which entry is that please

Seems more than co-incidental that a William Barrow married a Mary Pearson.

This William seems totally unconnected though as there is no Henry in the family I am researching.

Did Joseph get together upon his return from Army service?

Though the 1911 census indicates that Joseph and Mary married in c1885. So many conundrums with Joseph!

The John West born to mmn of Pearson was born in Dec 1900, Pontefract 9c, 119.

1891 census shows Joseph 39 and Mary 29 living at 13 Sackville St. Barnsley with Isabella 3 and Robert 10 months. Robert born in Castleford.

Mistranscribed on Anc**try as BarroN.
