Hi again, as I see it only the purchase of the marriage certificate to Price Phillips or a parish record of same, will answer if indeed her father was indeed a William?

Hi Carole, I just wanted to say thanks again for the pointer on Agnes Hughes marrying Price Phillips. Would you believe that I've now been able to locate and make contact with the descendants of their son Roderick !  I've now applied for their marriage certificate. I had to apply to the Wrexham Registrar because for some reason the GRO couldn't find the certificate, even though I had the correct reference number.

Gordon.
