Is it common for young children's names to be missing from settlement removal orders?
The removal order lists, in order, Edward, John and Elizabeth.
My family was John and his wife Elizabeth and their children Edward, John, Elizabeth, and William. I was wondering because of the name mismatch if I could have the wrong family. The father was a RN seaman and might possibly not have been present in the parish when the removal order was issued.
