Lamps
You have not given any indication as to what sort of record it is.

To me the last few words would seem to say imbecility and mania as recommended. ::)
Is it about a son of John DEACON?

Does that make any sense to you?

I think the last word is RecovD
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Is it an asylum/hospital discharge record? If so, the date (of discharge?) in the margin could be Ap(ril) 1926.

The words before Imbecility could be ad(mitted) Sep 1925. I agree with Recov(ere)d.

Not at all sure it's Son -- you'd expect a forename or title here?

Can you please identify the source and give the column headings?

It is an asylum record. This entry was written on the bottom of his father Frederick Deacon who died Nov 9th 1909.
There are no headers to link it back too.

The first 3 words are definitely Son John Deacon but that is all I can read

Many thanks

I think you’ve now had at least one suggestion for every word except the one in parentheses, after his name.

Maybe this begins Gr... ?

Could it be a place-name, or an occupation?

Do you know anything about John that might help us work it out?

Which asylum is it? Are we in Sussex?

(Just trying to pick up some clues.)
