« on: Monday 10 July 17 12:34 BST (UK) »
I am seeking information on the death or burial place of my Grandfather Edward Tector. My Grandfather was born around 1875. We believe his death may have been 1942/52. From all records that I can find ie Marriage, Census, he appears to have resided in the area of Pittstown in the town land of Sandpits in the parish of Fiddowen. which appear to be located in South County Kilkenny. Any help appreciated.

Clicking Birth/Marriages gets you those and you can also choose 1800/1900's from list on left

"....trying to find any information about my great grandad, Edward Tector, I know he was a widower when he married my great gran, Alice Connell in Tipperary Ireland in 1919 but after she died in Piltown Kilkenny in 1924,....."

They can't have done proper investigation as she died 1926, age 30

An Edward Tector, age 81, died Apr./June 1955 Wolverhampton district (vol. 9b page 846)- born c1874 which fits approx. year of birth you mentioned.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
