Hi.

Elizabeth Barrow born Abram 1848 to William and Esther.

1871 the family are living at 31 Old Road, Failsworth.

By 1881, her three siblings are married and her parents are living with Critchley Daniels and Ellen (née Barrow) at 97 Bradford Street, Oldham. Parents are written as Barratt.

Looking for Elizabeth.

Should be William and ESTHER.

Yes. Been through those and tried to look at all those Elizabeths born in Abram/Wigan (in 1881 census) and all potential Wigan marriages for Elizabeth Barrow.

Am trying not to rely on Rootschat people as I have learnt a few things recently.

Have you checked Family Search? There is a transcription of the 1879 marriage which has her father as William

What was William's occupation?

Where did her siblings marry?  Critchley & Ellen married at St Matthews Chadderton 1879 - Reg district Oldham.  Failsworth came under Prestwich

Did she have a second christian name?

Opening post says parents were William & Esther.  Reply 10 of link above mentions an Elizabeth Alice Barrow but her parents  seem to be Abel & Isabella.  Very sketchy info given in that post so difficult to determine who belongs to who

Sisters Nancy married Ben Gomersall  in St Mary the Virgin, Prestwich on 28 Sept 1878. James Holgate was a witness.

James Holgate married another sister, Maria on 4 Sept 1878 - same church.
