1st Lieutenant Oscar Lajeunesse 0-812445
« on: Wednesday 12 July 17 21:34 BST (UK) »
Wondering if anyone could help me. I am doing research on 1st Lieutenant Oscar Lajeunesse of the USAF who died in 2007. I am trying to find any copies of local newspaper reports of his funeral which was 31 October 2007 in Worcester, MA USA.

IN june 1944 he baled out of his P51 near to where I live and I want to find out about his life and possibly contact any relatives that are still alive.

Any help on this character would be much appreciated as I want to learn as much as I can about this fascinating man who not only fought during WWII but also in Korea. Even info on his birth would be great.

This gives his birthdate as 22 Sept.1915 with middle initial F [middle name Francis]-

1930 census shows several siblings- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XQTD-8HC

Obituary was in Worcester Telegram & Gazette, 3 Nov.2007-

Lots of relatives also mentioned here-

Also known as Joseph Oscar- seem as though all siblings might be deceased but checking their entries & searching for obituaries might find living relatives-
