I`m trying to trace the exact birth of my great grandmother Mary Ann Stone who was born around 1880.

Just got a match on ancestry for this family. Apparently margaret ellen marries a william gilbert and leaves descendents.

They give the marriage as

3rd April 1874 ,  Cathedral Parish Church, Manchester

This is Mary Bailey.

Tres interesting.

She's in the cellar at 47 jenkinson st (same as at marriage in 1874), servant aged 19 with a margaret bailey and richard bailey aged 17 and 12.

With a 39 year old labourer called Samuel Cartwright and his son robert aged 6. Wonder if this was "dad".
