Date to help identity family member may be Mary Harrington

There is some confusion over the identity of this lady. If anyone could have a go at dating the era and perhaps a guess at her age and that of the child?

Around 1917-20. The girl looks about 5 & the woman mid 20's.

The woman looks worldly so I would say slightly older than mid 20's and agree the little girl about 5 or 6.

The fronds of hair on the shoulders look girly as do the legs I think but now the seed of doubt has been sown  :-\

Mary was my grandmother and we have no definite confirmed pictures of her. She was born in 1899 and had her first child (my mum) in 1924. She had no youmger sisters but a younger brother, Patrick. born in 1903.

Her elder sister Hannah was born in 1887. We have Labelled photos of Hannah and they don't really resemble each other
