I now think they are the same child. Ellen Mary born 1911.
Perhaps she had a photo with her mother and also her aunt?

However, my dearly beloved thinks they are different children and the photos are from different dates

Don't suppose you have any group shots do you? 

The lady you posted first - is that the only photo of her that you know of?  If she was in a group with parents or siblings we might be able to pick her out.

There is only one other photo tentatively titled Mary Harrington. I'm not even sure if they are the same woman
There were no names or dates written on them
They were given to me by an elderly relative

The 2nd. photo was taken around the same decade as the 1st.
A bit more difficult to get much closer as this was pretty much standard women's wear from just pre war to around 1920.
The 3rd. woman was also from around the same time. The square neck blouse was a popular late war style.
