Grandfather's war records
« on: Sunday 16 July 17 11:44 BST (UK) »

Hoping someone will be able to advice me. My grandfather was a sergeant in RAF during WWII he and my granny are both dead.
My mother (his eldest daughter and first born child) and I are hoping to find some information on his service .
Could it be possible we might not need to pay the £30:00 fee as she might be classed as his next of kin ?

Thanks

Jessie

Next of kin would only be his wife so you would have to pay the £30 but should be able to get the records.  Your mother would not have any priority over her siblings getting the records they would all be equally entitled.
