Hi Ian:

Quick question:  Were Maja Lisa's parents Eric Parsson and Stina Jonsdotter...and if so were they married at the time?

Thanks,  Paul

Eric Pärsson and Stina Jönsdotter were her parents and yes they were married. Eric at this time was "undantagsman" = "person receiving support after giving his estate to another".

Their marriage 12 Dec 1789: Ledberg EI:1 (1746-1818) Bild 144 / sid 321 (AID: v38710.b144.s321, NAD: SE/VALA/00214)

Hi Ian:

I am researching Eric Pärsson (born 10 Sep 1765) and his wife Stina Jönsdotter (born 28 Aug 1768 in Ledberg).  I found Eric's death date of 9 Apr 1827 in Ledberg.  Stina then became a widow.  Can you locate her death date?  I have gone page by page in the death book and can't find it.  If she moved, I didn't catch that.

Here is the household record from the 1820s:

https://app.arkivdigital.se/production/index.html?aid=v25115.b316.s618&page=main/index

Thanks for your help.

Hi
In these types of cases when you can't find someone there is a possibility that she perhaps moved out. (as you perhaps thought). It does happen that the minister forgot to record her. In this case the minister did so:

Here is her moving out record - nr 5: Ledberg CI:4 (1800-1860) Bild 132 / sid 473 (AID: v38706.b132.s473, NAD: SE/VALA/00214)
Here is her moving in record - May 1831: Kärna BI:1 (1812-1860) Bild 40 / sid 73 (AID: v38612.b40.s73, NAD: SE/VALA/00208)

and
Household with her son Jonas: Kärna BI:1 (1812-1860) Bild 40 / sid 73 (AID: v38612.b40.s73, NAD: SE/VALA/00208)

Hi Paul
I'm sorry but I have misled you somewhat. I thought the word before his name was "undantagsman" but actually is "nämndemannen", which means he was a lay-judge.
