Hi Ian:

Can you tell me where this family moved next?  And if the father died?  Page 125, Måsberget, Jan Andersson, wife Maria Svensdotter, sons Joseph and Johannes.  Maybe they left the parish in 1820?

That wasn't easy. Here is what I found. It'll give you a head start.

Joseph and family in 1825: Knätte AI:3 (1815-1825) Bild 38 / sid 67
Joseph and family in 1825: Knätte AI:4 (1825-1836) Bild 44 / sid 65
Joseph and family in 1845: Knätte AI:5 (1835-1845) Bild 80 / sid 72
Joseph and family in 1851: Knätte AI:6 (1846-1851) Bild 76 / sid 69
Joseph and family in 1856: Knätte AI:7 (1852-1856) Bild 62 / sid 56
Joseph in 1881: Humla AI:7 (1867-1881) Bild 19 / sid 12

You'll notice that most of the family including Joseph were blind.

I had seen on a later record (Humla) that Joseph was blind, but I did not realize most of the family was, too.

No not really but that means it didn't happen. I just haven't seen it myself.

Ok.  Let me check my records.  I have Jan Andersson all figured out, but I think for one record it said Johan.  Or maybe it was hard to read.  If I need clarification, I will let you know.
