Hi Ian:
Here is a birth record for 1 Nov 1771 or 1772, supposedly for a Magnus Andersson:
https://app.arkivdigital.se/production/index.html?aid=v14945.b115.s108&page=main/index
Do you see a Magnus Andersson anywhere? His parents were Anders Andersson and Margareta Nilsdotter. I don't see it, but it might be the correct record. He was born either 1 Nov 1771 or 1 Nov 1772 in Tranemo.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi
You have given a page for 1732 but have written 1772.
Also, can you give me the pages showing his date of birth please.

Sorry for my typos! I think he was born 1 Nov 1721 or 1722 (not 1771 or 1772).
I see what I think is a 1 November on the left side, 2nd or 3rd record from the top. But I don't know what year I'm looking at.

I have his parents as Anders Andersson and Margareta Nilsdotter which I believe it correct. They lived mostly in Tranemo but a little while in Sjötofta.
Let me know if this helps a little. These records are almost impossible for me to understand.
Thanks, Paul

Hi
I should have written any pages showing his parents names.

Hi Ian:
Here is what I believe is the marriage record on 6 Jan 1721 in Tranemo for the parents of Magnus Andersson: Anders Andersson (born about 1694, buried 1 May 1748 in Tranemo) and Margareta Nilsdotter (born about 1699, buried 20 Oct 1760 in Tranemo).
https://app.arkivdigital.se/production/index.html?aid=v14945.b111.s104&page=main/index
It's a little hard to read, but I do see the 6 of January 1721 and Margareta Nilsdotter.
Their son Magnus Andersson may have been born 1 Nov 1721 or 1 Nov 1722.
I haven't been able to find any other pages with the parents' names. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Paul

Yes this seems to be them. Anders Andersson is recorded too. Also it looks as though Margareta was a widow.

Thanks for the info. It's possible she was a widow. I'll see if I can find that out for sure.
