isobelw has already given the information about the son of William Laidlaw and his wife Margaret Ann Laing.  His name was Charles William Laidlaw born in 1863 and died in 1864 - see here:

Are you saying that there was another son called William Walker Laidlaw born to these parents?  If so, approximately when since there does not appear to be any registration for him on ScotlandsPeople, and no-one has found any evidence for this child in the numerous searches that have been carried out in attempts to find information for you.

We seem to be going round in circles and asking the same questions that we asked a few months ago.  We're not getting anywhere................ and it's not for want of trying. :(
