Have been talking to my aunt trying to find their marriage certificate but no luck so far. But have discovered a rumour that my grandfather was left on a hospital steps as a baby and a visitor named him. So no names for parents on his birth certificate here's the end of his search lol

Of my aunts and uncles only my uncle Raymond Phillips is still alive, Shirley, Gordon, Lionel, Brian and my father Leslie are deceased.
They did live at chain cottages in Hurst later sawpit road Hurst

George's mother is Betsy Alice looking for maiden name his father is George William Phillips as well. Betsy death is July 22 1950 aged 85 in Toronto Canada and George William Phillips the father of George death is Dec 2 1954 aged 87 in Toronto Canada. So looking for maiden name for Betsy and military record for George the son.
