Hi.

Looking for the following & any help would be fantastic.

Death of Mary Ann Goodhead nee Garness. #Mary Ann Garness chr. 29/7/1825 Mamble, Worcester mother Ann Garness.

Alonzo Goodhead m. Mary Ann Garness 31/8/1865(?) Saint Martin, Birmingham, Warwick. Mary Ann died not long after in Birmingham.

Death of Ann Garness presumably in Birmingham.

Possible death of Henry Arthur Goodhead b. birth: 1869 at Wednesbury, Staffordshire. Was on the 1871 Census for Birmingham but was not on the passenger list to the USA with his mother & brother in 1893.

Have you checked FreeBMD.org.uk?

Do you have them in censuses? If so, which is the latest census they are on?
(It helps to narrow the time-frame)

She was still with him in 1871 Nottingham.

1861 Census 49 Croft St., Wednesbury, Staffordshire
George Goodhead (note the change from Alonzo) married 40 Labourer b. Nottingham
Mary Ann Wife married 36 b. Tenbury, Worcester
The 1871 Census shows Alonzo & his daughter. I have found this. Mary Ann   Goodhead   Death   1864   Warwickshire
Ann   Garness   Death   1870   Herefordshire

Presumably you have the 1865 marriage certificate which would confirm that he finally got round to marrying Mary who he had been living with for years.   :-\

Is the marriage to Margaret Dillin in 1867 also him and his appearance on the divorce index in 1870 (also a Margaret)

The 1871 census where he appears with Mary Ann age 28 born Dudley states that both he and Mary A are married  ???

Hi.

Alonzo remarried Mary/Margaret Mcmahon/Dili & she divorced him in a nasty trial. He appears to have been born in Hungary so it is thought his father was in the Military. Alonzo Goodhead [80887] was born about 1820, was christened on 2 Sep 1820 in St Mary's, Nottingham, and was buried on 14 Apr 1883 in Mill Road Cemetery, St Andrew the Less, Cambridge.

Parents #Isiah Goodhead & #Ann Hogg m. 6/11/1816 Beeston, Nottingham
#Luke Goodhead & #Ann Smith m. 8/8/1789 St. Peters, Nottingham.

Samuel married Ann Wilford [80881] [MRIN: 33155] on 25 Nov 1753 in St John the Baptist, Beeston, Notts. No further info.
