The funeral of the late Mr. Michael Cashion, of Thomas-street, South Fremantle, and formerly of Coolgardie and Bunbury, took place on Sunday last in the Roman Catholic portion of the Fremantle Cemetery. The deceased, who was in his 79th year, was born in Cork, Ireland, but he had resided in the Australian States for over 40 years. The chief mourners were — Mr. Thomas Cashion (son), Miss Laura Cashion (daughter), Mrs. T. Wims, and Miss M. Palmer. The pallbearers were Messrs. O. Johnson, E. Hayes, T. Wims, and J. Callan. - The Rev. Father W. J. McCallion, O.M.I., conducted the burial ceremony at the graveside, and the funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Arthur E. Davies and Co., of Fremantle.
