1950/60s Beith postman
« on: Tuesday 18 July 17 14:49 BST (UK) »
Hi all
I was wondering if anyone knew how I could locate a postman that covered the Threepwood area of Beith around 50-60years ago?
I met him in that area a few months ago and he said he used to deliver mail on his bike when he was 18 years old.
I wish I'd asked for his name and number as I'd like to speak with him.
I tried Beith post office but they couldn't help me and I don't have enough information to use Ancestry records for Post Office workers.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
Scott

Try contacting Garnock Valley Treasured Memories group on FB, someone there should be able to help.
