Death Certificate address
« on: Thursday 20 July 17 11:30 BST (UK) »
Please can anyone help me work out the address on a death certificate, it state 3 Lloyd Street Cheetham. I know from searching there are two Lloyd Streets one in Manchester and the other just says Lloyd Street S. I am confused as to where the death certificate one might be. Looking at the one South seems quite far away from where this family always lived, so am little confused.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Susan

Hello,

There is a Lord Street which crosses Cheetham Hill Road and runs to Red Bank.

I looked at Manchester registration district information here

http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/reg/districts/manchester.html

Cheetham later became part of Prestwich

and this list of  Lloyd St* in Lancashire 1911 shows where they might be

Thanks for that dawnsh, given the places they were living during their time I think I shall have to go with Lloyd Street in centre of Manchester as the others are quite a distance from where everyone else is living, at the end of his life her husband was living in Chepstow Street Manchester so this makes more sense I think.

Many thanks

Susan

Lloyd Street in the centre of Manchester isn't Cheetham though.

Like Heywood has said, you sure it's not Lord street, Cheetham?

No Lloyd street i could find in Cheetham, but there use to be a Lloyd street in Salford just off Rosamond street, one off Oldham road, Manchester, another of Moulton street, Bury new road.

Mary :)
