Sarah Pollock born 1869 Scotland at greenock, renfrew, scotland.

lots of Margaret McLaughlan mention on the family search site.  Sometime they put Mc or M' might have been put on just Laughlan

Rathmore, thanks for responding.

Yes, I have a copy of the Scottish microfilmed birth record for Sarah Ann Pollock  -- that's the record with the confusing place of marriage for her parents, listed as "Strabin, Co. Donegal". So far the options seem to be either Strabane at the Tyrone/Donegal border or Upper or Lower Strabinna in SW Donegal. I've know that the parents are Daniel Pollock and Margaret McLaughlan and that they married 1868/1869, possibly 16 May 1868.

As you see in the previous responses from Elywn and aghadowey, online searches for the record don't seem very promising.  Maybe if I were in the area I could look at records from the local sources, just a bit tough from here in the US and not knowing exactly where to look for records.
