No we visited James's grave and knew of the four brothers coming home. Only James died in WW1.
The photo I have of the five brothers won't upload on here. And the uniforms aren't clear. I could maybe e-mail you them?

Wow that's very strange!! But that isn't this Adam as apparently he went onto have children and came back to Jedburgh (I think).

Adam Telfer who died in 1915 as reported by Hawick News, looks to be Adam Smith Telfer, son of another William Telfer, shepherd, whose wife is Aggie S Telfer. So two William Telfers who are shepherds ::)
