Hi, I am not 100% sure re religion. Alex"s marriage records found in old parish records and didn't appear to be catholic either, but his son, James Joss was when he married.We have C.of E,Anglican,Episcopalian, RC, Baptists and possible Quaker in the extended tree so far.Hard when looking for records but don"t mind as long as related.Catholics in Scotland had a hard time in early 1800's and Church of Scotland had the majority of records then.
