This gentleman I presume is the same who died 1954 in NSW?
You'll need to look for the location "s-Gravenhage" in some records.
wiewaswie does not have everything indexed. Try the
Zuid-Holland civil registrations on familysearch:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1576401Again, not everything indexed, so you must go to browse through the images and look for "s-Gravenhage"
Sure enough, a Joseph Petrus Veenendaal is listed in the index at the start of the 1875 births (Geboorten 1875 ) - 25 May.
That birth is here (
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kfl/ ) bottom left, image 303.
My dutch is not very good but with the help of google translate I believe the parents are Karel Veenendaal and Johanna Boekvrift/Boekwift(??), and Karel's occupation may be "rijksveldwachter", a sort of constable (see here:
https://www.dutchgenealogy.nl/veldwachter/ )
To look for other relatives look for Tienjarige tafels - ten year indexes. For example in Tienjarige tafels 1853-1872 huw. (tables 1853-1872, marriages) the marriage of Karel Veenendaal and Johanna Boekwyt is listed as 16 Feb 1870.
Note for marriages there are two sets of info.
Huwelijken 1870 - marriages for 1870.
the marriage of Karel and Johanna is here (
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kfm/ ) right hand side, image no 76.
Karel born Amersfoort, aged 34, parents Karel Veenendaal and Kaatje Wiggenraad
Johanna born Leyden, aged 31, parents Abraham Boekwyt and Henriette Christina van den Bosch
Then there are the Huwelijksbijlagen, this is all the background documentation you required to get married. Karel and Johanna's file starts here, image 1404 of "Huwelijksbijlagen 1869-1870 v/a 551 t/m 233" (their marriage number was 87 in 1870):
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kfn/ This one is fairly minimal but does include:
-extract of Karel's birth record
-information on Karel's military service
-extract of Johanna's birth record
