Trying to find a burial of my great grandfather

Joseph Hudson born 1850 in Leamington Warwickshire

He married in marylebone and moved to Herefordshire

1911 he was residing in Herefordshire  but then left my great grandmother with her children and returned to London where he died between 1920 and 1930

Can anyone help please

He was a Chelsea pensioner after a war campaign serving under lord Roberts in

Afghanistan and there abouts

Regards Phil

Got to be the Joseph Willliam Hudson from Margate married to Mary Ann Brice?

I agree with Jon, it is not your Joseph.

For future reference the probate index is at https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills
You can order wills from there for £10, they are sent electronically within a few days.

The 1925 Chelsea one is still a possibility though.  Don't his Chelsea pensioner records give a death date  :-\   Maybe he was living in the Royal Hospital when he died  ;D   ::)

Worth a look on the electoral registers, see if there was a Joseph Hudson there (and when he was no longer there!)
