I cheated & searched for Mary Goddard with Thomas no surname & Guildford  ;D  I can understand how they got Surcy it just needed a badly written 'e'

It is strange really as I never consider I have a 'local dialect' unlike OH who comes from 'up north' I suppose I must have  ;D
