Marriage - Fred C STANDHART & Helena Christina HERSE - New York

I have a date for this marriage, 17 March 1894, but cannot verify it. The couple lived in New York state and settled in Gloversville after marriage.  I would be most grateful to have it confirmed if possible please.
Helena's birth is also a problem, her death cert states 1882 but going off various census it's most likely 1874-78. Verification of this please would also by fantastic.

New York state didn't require vital records until 1881, so likely, if a birth record existed, it would be a church record.

Thanks Shelly, I've just picked up this family again after the success I had finding Helena's death.  I have now gone back to her first marriage to Fred Standahrt before she upped sticks and headed to California where she met Charles Kline.
