« on: Monday 24 July 17 23:17 BST (UK) »
I may be getting over confident with my transcription. I would love some help completing and correcting this first part. Can anyone help me, please.

Regards
Grantley

Super job. A very few suggestions below.

1 - Thomas Ricardis

2 - incolumis mente

3 - a(n)i(m)am meam deo p(at)ri om(n)ipotenti

6 - pro oblationibus et decimis oblit(is) xx l(ib)r(as) It(e)m lego cuilibet lumen in d(i)c(t)a eccl(es)ia iiijor li(bras) cer(e) [= 4 pounds of wax, for the candles]

7 - ad edificium … voc(ata) Carsewell Ile in p(ar)te australi xxti li(bras) [= ‘the Carsewell Aisle’, see http://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/oxon/vol14/pp130-144#h3-0006]

8 - legal(is) monet(e) … ad empt(um)(?) unius libri antiphonal(is) p(re)dict(e) eccl(es)ie [= for the purchase of an antiphonal]

9 - ux(o)ri mee ducentas li(bras) … sive hospici mei

(I will have to come back to line 10 another time.)

Having a good mentor certainly helps, thank you.

Your reference to British history online was certainly an added bonus for me. :)

The best that I can guess for line 10 is ;
.... coqu[a]m .... .... .... .... et alijs .... meis quacumq[ue] no[min]is senciant

The best that I can guess for line 10 is ;
.... coqu[a]m .... .... .... .... et alijs .... meis quacumq[ue] no[min]is senciant

10 – cam(er)is coquin’ crater’ zonis cocliar’ murris et alijs iocal(is) meis quocumq(ue) no(m)i(n)e senciant(ur)

I’m uncertain of a few of the word-endings (and therefore the exact sense) in this line. But the gist is that he’s leaving his wife all the household utensils in his hall, chambers and kitchen, including ‘basins, spoons, bowls, and all my other pieces, by whatever name they are known’.

Fantastic. Thank you again.

The saying from school ( a long time ago ) "Latin is a dead language. First it killed the Romans, now it's killing me" keeps ringing in my ears.
It is a pity that I wasn't a naughty school boy. I should have paid more attention back then.
