William Goddard, born 1815, Enfield
« on: Tuesday 25 July 17 14:39 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I am enquiring about an ancestor. William Goddard was born in Enfield, in 1815, and died in 1880, in Chadwell St. Mary, Essex. His wife was Elizabeth Smith, although I cannot find a marriage or death record for her.

I would appreciate any help,

Adam

James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

Yes, I do. I have saved photocopies. William died in 1880, in Chadwell St. Mary. I don't know what became of Elizabeth.

Aha! Thanks. Have you any idea what became of her after the census was taken?
