Sorry Armstrong Urwin and Family lived in Newcastle around 1790 ish he married widowed Jane Erringon (nee Douglas) around 1797 ish, I know he had a daughter Eleanor born 1809, but not sure if there were any more children.

Thanks

Both Free Reg and Family Search have:

Marriage 01 Jun 1797, All Saints, Newcastle
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kg9/

Baptism of John Urwin 5th June 1803, All Saints Newcastle
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kg8/

NB that says he was he second son of Armstrong and Jane

Baptism of Eleanor IRWIN 16 July 1809, All Saints Newcastle
NB says 3rd daughter

may be worth you trawling through the BTs to see if you can find other children being baptised or buried, bearing in mind spelling variations of the surname

I just wanted to add that the numerical sequence of children didn't necessarily reset at the start of the marriage as it should have done. One of my ancestors in Northumberland, married twice, carried on numbering children with his second wife. In fact, that's how I found out he was married once before.

Incidentally, one of my URWINs married in Newcastle... as ORRON. I've had IRWIN, URVIN, NUVIN etc... must be my most varied/mistranscribed surname in my entire tree  ::)

On that note-
Thomas ORWIN b. 11 Sept 1807 ch. 17 Jan 1808, Newcastle upon Tyne, second son of Armstrong (a smith) and Jane ORWIN nee DOUGLASS (Daughter of John, pitman of Tanfield, Durham) living Warkworth Northumberland (transcript from FindMyPast)

So now you have two "second son"s, just to be awkward.
